Meet Grace Casper…

Hi! I’m Grace. I am a 24-year-old young professional living in Waco, TX. During my weekdays I work as a full-time program coordinator for a University. After work, I go home and work on content for Divorce Tips from Kids. This content includes my podcast, Divorce: What I Wish My Parents Knew, social media channels, and my book (to be announced soon).

I grew up in Colorado but ended up in Waco after attending Baylor University and getting a B.A. in Entrepreneurship & Marketing. Waco became home and I now live with two friends and my little maltipoo, Teddy.

“Your dad and I are getting a divorce.”

I didn’t know what that meant, but I knew it was a scary word. She then told us Dad moved into another home in downtown Denver. She explained that Jack and I would be going between houses to spend time with each parent.

Little did I know, this conversation would change my life.

When I was in 5th grade, I was out at recess and took my composition notebook with me. I started to write down 10 tips for my brother and me as we went through the divorce. Fast forward, to 2018 and that composition book became the first draft of my book. I noticed that there were tons of resources for people going through a divorce but I wasn’t aware of anything from the kid’s perspective. After years of writing, querying agents and publishers, this project was finally becoming a reality.

However, I didn’t want to wait until my book was published to start sharing the kid’s perspective! This is how the brand Divorce Tips from Kids and the podcast Divorce: What I Wish My Parents Knew were born.

My hope is that this platform can be of assistance to all parents who are trying to give their children the very best during the divorce. I also want kids to realize they are going to be okay and certain things
